WDW Day 2: 3 Parks in 1 Day

Park #1: EPCOT

We learned from the past: ticked off the rides and got out.  This park is BIG and with the sun already searing down  on us, too HOT.  As soon as the gates opened, we bee-lined for the newest ride here, Frozen Ever After.  Then the newly updated Soarin' and rides like The Seas with Nemo & Friends (MrE loved this).

There's no place like home
Not-so-hidden Mickey's everywhere!
Our highlight was meeting Baymax in San Fransokyo

Baymax appreciated MrH and my shirts

After making ourselves sick on Mission: SPACE... oh yeah, that's why there was no line... we park hopped to Animal Kingdom.

Park #2: Animal Kingdom

We found DiVine!
I forgot how much I liked this park!  It will be even better once Pandora opens in 2017.  The kids became Wilderness Explorers and tried to complete a passport through the park (this came in handy as we waited and waited for a table at lunch.  Here's where we needed an ADR and I didn't make one- it's hard to anticipate when you were going to be exhausted and starved 90 days before!)

MissE's wish for cooler days came true, as we waited for our table it started to sprinkle then as we sat, it started bucketing!  We were nice and dry inside Yak & Yeti's, which I would highly recommend.  It was yummy!
Ahi Tuna Nachos
The rain stopped and the crowds disappeared (yay!) but some of the rides closed (boo!).
My favourite AK ride: Kilimanjaro Safaris

Lions on Pride Rock
Not quite tall enough yet... but MissE loved Expedition Everest!
MrH fell asleep?
After the rides, we found some friends, danced and I completed my AK experience with a Dole Whip #sorrynotsorry

Whatever or Wilderness Explorers
Shake it, MissE!

No Disney trip is complete without a Dole Whip!

These 2 photos made me laugh.  Note: no child was lost; he's up for his Oscar next year.  Ha!
Where are your parents little boy?
It's awesome because it's true.

Park #3: Hollywood Studios
Request a TV booth
Into our 3rd park, Hollywood Studios, for dinner at 50's Prime Time Cafe.  This restaurant was hilarious!  It's styled after a 50's kitchen and the cast members act the part too.  The host yells your name and that you are late for supper.  You can yell back or follow obediently.  We also witnessed a few getting put into timeout.  We did everything we could but none of us got put there.  Only MrH got a stern "young man".

We taught him well!
Laughing at another diner in the naughty corner
Shame, shame!
After dinner, we made it just in time for Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular.  This is a projection and firework show on (fake) Mann's Chinese Theater.  It is seriously spectacular.  😲 There may have been some tears as soon as the music started. 😭

This was the best end to the night!

Temperature: 32.8c/ 91F, 97% humidity
Heat index: 36.5c
Steps: 23,389 (18.11 km)
