She deserves her very own post for this. She amazes us with what she sets her mind to and accomplishes. This term, MissE went up for taekwondo grading for her purple belt.
We were a little bit early to grading so we watched the white belts. At the end, Master Di gave out merit awards for those that did very well. MissE looked at me and said "I am going to get an award today".

As an under 8, she is not required to grade on her patterns and sit down with the others. She is disappointed very time she has to do this. She was given permission to stay this time but she was still unsure. After an assuring nod, she stayed and completed her patterns. And true to her word, she was awarded with a very special recognition: poomsae stripe for her purple belt for her perfect patterns and 10 points towards her next grading.

We are incredibly proud of her! To top her already great week, she finished levels at swimming and is now on the junior squad to work on her technique… and she's leading the lane already.
